Modalities

Paulina offers range of holistic modalities that are clinically proven to bring about real and lasting changes in the skin, while improving the overall health of the integument.

dermal rolling

Is a versatile, non-invasive way to stimulate tissue regeneration and skin rejuvenation. Stimulates the inflammatory response and healing cascade without causing unnecessary trauma to the skin tissue. Encourages the release of growth factors and skin cells to communicate and work together to regenerate the skin. It may help with pigmentation, reducing pore size, improving skin texture, restoring elasticity, reducing the appearance of scars and tightening skin. Minimal to no downtime.

Light therapy

LED Light Therapy is painless skin-care treatment that uses light emitting diodes (LED’s) to restore skin’s normal, healthy activity. The energy delivered by the LED’s enhances cellular metabolism and accelerates healing. This in turn stimulates the body to build new collagen, increases circulation, and improves lymphatic function. The result is healthier, younger-looking skin. There is continued and gradual improvement with each subsequent treatment. With a series of 3-6 treatments, your skin will appear smoother, tighter, and more radiant.

How does it work?
The Red Light stimulates the fibroblasts that produce collagen, which gives young skin its plump look. It can also minimize fine lines and wrinkles, repairs sun-damage, and fades age spots.
The Blue Light is used to treat mild to moderate acne by killing the bacteria responsible for breakouts. It also reduces sebum production and minimizes pores.
The Yellow Light stimulates lymphocyte production which activates toxin elimination and reduces inflammation.
The Green Light helps to regulate melanin production, reducing redness and lighten pigmentation.
Is LED for everyone?
While almost everyone can benefit from the use of light therapy, these treatments will have the greatest impact on skin with sluggish metabolism and slow cellular activity showing visible signs of aging. Contraindications for Light Therapy include pregnancy and epilepsy, photo-allergy, and medications that cause light sensitivity (such as Tetracycline). Also, if you are currently taking steroids or cortisone injections, you should not receive Light Therapy.

Relaxes tension in facial muscles
Plumps wrinkles and facial lines

Gua Sha Face Lift

Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese treatment that includes the use of a small jade board to gently massage, manipulate and stimulate specific energy points along the face and body to break up blood stagnation, release toxins, and promote lymphatic drainage. The resulting beauty benefits are immediately noticeable: the appearance of wrinkles, sagging, dark eye circles, puffy eyes, age spots and discolorations are reduced, and complexion is brighter, healthier, younger-looking and radiant.

The Nefeli Gua Sha Jade Stone Facial Rejuvenation works on multiple levels, by activating the facial fascia, facial muscle and different layers of the skin, soft tissue, sinews and tendons. Therefore, protocols include skin stimulation of various myofascial deep tissue, skin, connective tissue, sinews and tendons using gentle strokes that follow the meridian system and activate specific acupuncture points without using any needles.

Aesthetic Kinesiotaping

Is an increasingly popular therapeutic method that uses the body's natural self-healing processes.  It consists of applying to selected parts of the body and face special tapes with structure similar to human skin in terms of stretch, thickness and weight.  Kinesiotaping is very well known and used by physiotherapists in rehabilitation after injuries, torn muscles and other pains in the joints and spine.

In skincare industry we use this method for face wrapping, thanks to which we stimulate the lymphatic system, eliminate furrows and wrinkles, improve skin elasticity and tension, and strengthen the facial muscles.  This method is great for the appearance of the skin and prolongs its youth and freshness.  We also recommend it in combination with other treatments, in particular with the face lift massage, to relax tense muscles and relieve the face of the stresses of everyday life.  Kinesiotaping + massage strengthens the effects of skin rejuvenation and restores its natural tension, as the facial muscles are prepared through massage and exercise.

Benefits of Kinesiotaping

- may reduce swelling,

- supports anti-wrinkle and firming treatments,

 - non-invasive and painless stimulation of the facial muscles,

 - improves blood supply to cells and blood flow,

 - improves tension and appearance of the facial skin.

Kinesiotaping is a safe method, but it is not recommended in the case of open wounds, skin allergies and after treatments with the use of electricity.  Tapes are safe and hypoallergenic.  Clients leave the office with patches on the face, which must remain stuck for 4 to 8 hours, depending on the condition of the skin and the effect we want to achieve
